Questions we already know.
Micro drama is serialized fictional content — developed specifically for mobile, vertical screens. Short episodes, real characters, real dramaturgy. Think Netflix — but native to your feed. The format is exploding globally. Germany is just getting started.
Micro Drama describes the content — extremely short episodes (60–90 seconds), high-density dramaturgy, serialized across many installments. Technically it can also be produced in 16:9. Vertical Drama describes the form — produced in 9:16 portrait format, native to the smartphone screen. In practice, the two terms are used interchangeably — "Vertical" is the container, "Micro" is what's inside.
Even great videos get watched and forgotten. Micro drama builds something that sticks: characters people follow, a world they come back to. Your brand isn't interrupting the feed — it's woven into the story. That's what drives real affinity and time spent.
It depends on the package — but as a rule, we run the whole thing: from initial idea through concept and script to a finished series, including assets for social, paid and PR. On the Match side, we also handle finding the right series and managing the integration.
It starts with a strategy call. We get under the skin of your brand, your goals, your audience — and tell you honestly which path makes sense. From there, we develop concept and script, coordinate production, and see it through to the finished episode.
Any brand with a story to tell — and an audience that lives on social. We've worked with consumer brands, sports brands and entertainment companies. Industry doesn't matter. Curiosity does.
Fast. Once we kick off, you'll have a concrete concept within days. How long production takes depends on scope and format — we figure that out together on the first call.
No. Micro Drama scales — from a first episode sponsorship to your own 100-episode series. The right entry point depends on your goals, not your budget. Our first call is free — and afterwards you'll know exactly what makes sense for you.
A Micro Drama agency develops and produces serialized short-form fiction — micro dramas — for brands, and weaves those brands into the stories organically. reelistiq is Germany's first agency specialized in Micro Drama: from brand integration into existing series to custom IP series and full production.
Yes. AMINHO — THE CHALLENGE was Germany's first micro drama, developed by reelistiq with Skechers and Constantin Creators: 1.1M views, an average of 55,000 views per episode and +218% views from episode 1 to the finale — with zero paid media. Campaign Germany and Business Punk covered the case.
An episode usually runs between 60 seconds and 3 minutes, always in 9:16 vertical format. Depending on the format, a series spans from 8 episodes (Pilot Season) to 100+ episodes (Flagship). Every episode ends on a cliffhanger that pulls into the next one.
Primarily TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts — where the audience is already scrolling vertically. Internationally, dedicated micro drama apps like ReelShort or DramaBox also carry the format; in Germany, the social platforms are where series find their audience.
Two ways. Match: we connect the brand with a series in early development so it's part of the story from day one — as episode sponsoring or as headline sponsor of a full series. Create: we develop an original series around the brand, from concept and script to finished production, owned as the brand's own IP.
It depends on the entry point. Episode sponsoring in an existing series is the most affordable way to test the format; your own eight-episode Pilot Season sits above that, and a Full Season or Flagship format is quoted individually. In a free strategy call we map the potential against your budget concretely.
By metrics classic advertising doesn't deliver: views and completion rate per episode, retention across the season (are viewers still watching episode 5?), engagement like comments and shares — and on the brand side, brand recall and the demand a series creates. With AMINHO, views grew 218% from episode 1 to the finale.
No. Branded content and influencer posts are single pieces about a brand. A micro drama is a series with characters, arcs and cliffhangers in which the brand is part of the storyworld — viewers come back for the story, not the ad, and that creates affinity instead of reach without recall.
